CRUISING OFF COAST OF MEXICO

We are yellow arrow in red circle.

For the next two days we will be cruising the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of Mexico.  At noon today we are passing by Acapulco which is about 25 miles off our right side.  We are enroute to Cabo San Lucas where we are scheduled to dock at 8:00 am on Sunday.
We are experiencing a basically calm Pacific resulting in a nice smooth ride.  It will be in the mid 80's today with 65% humidity so not a particularly good day to sit out on the balcony.  Besides it is in the sun in afternoons. Our normal routine for sea day this morning--room service breakfast, workout for hour, get cleaned up, time on computer, followed by lunch.  Today's lunch buffet on pool deck features "tex-mex" foods.  We don't eat outside but take the food into La Veranda restaurant next to where pool grill is located.  Too hot and humid for us!
What we had for dinner last night.  Salmon in pastry.  YUMMY!
This afternoon we may watch a movie.  Last night we requested the chef make us salmon, rice, and spinach baked inside a puff pastry.  It is one of our favorites that they usually have occasionally on the noon buffet, but not so far.  The four singers', "The Perfect Gentlemen", show last night was so-so.  After it I went to watch "The Liars Club" which is always fun.  Rebecca went back to the suite.  Tonight is another of the Jean Ann Ryan singers and dancers production shows, "Dancing in the Streets".  We have gotten to know several of the singers and dancers so they know to look for us sitting on the front row for their shows.  Here are some photos I took at one of their shows.  Sorry for the quality but they are quite active and that causes blurs.

This is Lorraine, our cruise director, who I believe could be much more professional at times.  This is one.
                                                         Tex-Mex buffet
One has taco meat and other is chicken
The ice cream case available every day.  They make it on board.

This piece of silver ware, the fish knife, has always puzzled me.  If a fish is so tough that you need a knife, you have much bigger problems.  Just thought of ex-farm boy!
