Our position today at 11:00 am
We are still doing some rocking and rolling today. Captain told us yesterday that it would be smoother today. Not sure what weather charts he is looking at. We arose at 7:15 this morning as wanted to go to the Compass Rose main dining room for Sunday breakfast. Another Regent tradition is to have champagne and caviar at the Sunday breakfast. The ice carving is a fish.
We wanted to be there at 8:00 am when the dining room opened so we would be finished eating by 9:00 am. At 9:00 we attended an interdenominational worship service lead by our cruise director and our assistant cruise director. It was a very nice service. At 10:15 I went to a lecture by Dr Paula Smith about the final cruise of Captain Cook. He was killed by natives on the big island of Hawaii. Rebecca went to the fitness center while I was at the lecture. Probably be doing cajun chicken Ceasar salads again for lunch. This evening we have another reservation at Prime 7 Steakhouse. Greg Bonham is the headline entertainer at 9:30 tonight so do not want to miss his show.
Here are some photos I took yesterday afternoon and last night at dinner.Officer/Passenger shuffle board tournament--round 1
Our favorite bar tender, Mario, doing cocktail making demonstration on pool deck.
Maricel, wine steward we have known for long time, making cocktail.
Rain shower we passed by late in afternoon yesterday. Passing by more showers like this today.
Our dinner guests last night. We met both of them on our Circle South America cruise in 2012. Elda (next to Rebecca) is the assistant cruise director. Iria is the Destinations Manager (head of excursions). Elda is Italian and Iria is Brazilian. Both are super nice ladies and we had a great time.
This lovely lady, Ferderica, was a waitress last segment but was promoted to head waiter at beginning of this cruise.
